It started at Gentry Creek near Junction, Texas—walking the banks with my son Brady, looking for arrowheads as a storm gathered quickly over the hills.

Somewhere between the creek and the house, racing the rain, the idea came into focus: an arrowhead and a bolt of lightning.

The mark was already there.

The arrowhead represents patience, toughness, and the will to keep moving forward no matter what stands in the way. The bolt represents the moment everything changes—the adversity that either breaks you or defines you.

I have lived both.

When we got home, Brady sat down and began drawing. At 10 years old, he put an arrowhead and lightning bolt on paper. The finished design would evolve, but the first version of the mark began with his hands.

That matters more to me than I can fully explain. It was personal before it was anything else.

There is an old idea about arrowheads: you do not find them. They find you.
